Sunny Graham is a homegrown Richmond resident and former co-coordinator of the Building Power Fellowship. As a formerly displaced Richmond resident, Sasha actively works on tenant’s rights and economic justice issues and is currently in her second year of law school at UC Berkeley.

Regina grew up in Richmond, CA Received Bachelors in Urban Studies from Stanford University and later her Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Regina has spent her entire career working towards housing and economic justice through affordable housing and community development. She is the current Executive Director of SV@Home in San Jose.

My name is Nance Ybarra, I am a deeply rooted Richmond resident of the Iron Triangle. I'm passionate about uplifting my community and educating folks about local issues. I've worked with Pogo Park, doing engagement and development for the beautification and blueprint of the park and got my hands dirty to improve the Elm Street Lot as well as Harbour 8th Park on the Greenway

My name is Folasa Mauga, I was born in San Francisco and raised in Richmond. My family and I moved to Richmond when I was 6 years old. I’ve lived all over Richmond and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, and I currently work at Sealy in Richmond. I’m a single parent and currently taking care of my parents and son

Joanne Cheung is an immigrant with ancestral roots in the Yangtze River delta in China. She comes from a matrilineal lineage of healers and caregivers. Trained in architectural design and urban planning, she is deeply committed to centering community agency, health, and power in every aspect of the built environment. The Founder and collective member of New Economy Workshop, a creative strategy practice guided by immigrant and Indigenous values
MANDALYN MENDOZA

Mandalyn Mendoza has worked in the affordable housing industry as a real estate developer for over 8 years. Mandalyn first joined the industry as a LISC AmeriCorps member with a small, innovative non-profit affordable organization and continued her professional career at the nation’s largest non-profit affordable housing developer and at a Bay Area Housing Authority.
