Prioritizing the Movement for Black Lives

In light of this heavy moment of righteous rage, pain, mourning, and collective power, we have decided to extend our hiring period. We hope that this will ease the burden of existing applicants from needing to mentally and spiritually show up for a professional interview as if nothing is affecting our communities energy and spirit. We also hope that this will allow prospective candidates who have been busy healing and movement-building a little extra time to apply to our open positions: CLT Program Manager & Planner & Community Organizing Manager.

At this moment there are countless protests, car actions, budget hearings, and other events that demand our immediate attention. We encourage everyone to keep the momentum and collective effort going. Out of respect for the movement and calls to action, we will resume the hiring process after Juneteenth (June 19th, 2020.) Please take that time to learn, reflect, donate, show-up, and act for intersectional racial justice. Read the 8 Principles of Community Development Through a Black Women’s Lens by Jennifer Rougeau, Kapris James, and Sasha Graham, and join us in making space for deep and authentic practices of solidarity for intersectional racial justice.

In Community,
